PHOTA arranges 1st Training Session for the Coordinators of Public hospitals in Lahore.

Punjab Human Organ Transplantation Authority (PHOTA) arranged first training session for the coordinators of public hospitals in the Committee Room of PHOTA. The session started with the recitaion of Holy Quran. Dr. Murtaza Haider, Director Technical, PHOTA, chaired the session. He briefed the participants about the topic of discussion. Directors and Assistant Directors from Technical, Vigilance and Legal department of PHOTA participated in the session.

Assistant Directors Technical, briefed the house related to medical proforma/checklists, recipient and donor forms for the submission of the transplant cases to PHOTA, registry of the patients of end organ failure and its subsequent submission to PHOTA. The Director Legal informed the house regarding the highlighted legal requirements to be adopted for the transplant case submission to PHOTA. At the end, Deputy Director Vigilance, Adnan Ahmad Bhatti gave the introduction of Vigilance Department and highlited the issues regarding the vigilance. PHOTA provided the hard and soft copies of the forms/checklists, registry formats and other forms to the coorinators.
