PHOTA holds meeting of its Evaluation Commitee on June 07, 2018 in the office of Punjab Human Organ Transplantation Authority, Lahore. The experts / consultants from the medical field attended the meeting. Dr. Murtaza Haider, Director Technical, PHOTA, chaired the meeting.
The Evaluation Committee of PHOTA evaluates the patients & donors, to be transplanted in the province of the Punjab, and their relationships as per PHOTA Act & Rules. Eights cases of Kidney and Liver Transplantation were evaluated . After interviewing, a number of sixteen recipients and donors, the commitee presented its recommendations and six cases were approved for trasplantation. Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
